Today , I have got something precious from my respected lecturer , dr Essam. Before go further , let me introduce a little about him . Dr essam is my lecturer nowadays , 3rd year 1st sem , teaching me the prosthodontic subject. What is prosthodontic guys?you type at google search prostho and you read it alone(haahaa).
Okey , what I want to highlight for this post is about the motivation words that I got from Dr Essam. This story start after I sent my jaw relation , and I came back to my seat to pick up all my things to go home. But , before I go home , I went to anas seat and look dr was talking with 4 or 5 jordanians and anas was hearing too. So , I ask anas ….what’s was dr just talking about? He answered , dr was sharing his study experience before. I’m so interested to hear and I keep hearing until the end
At first , dr was sharing about his university before and also about the exam way. He wish that he can do the simple essay questions like ‘ can you describe about the relation of mandible(I think)’. But , it is quiet impossible , I’m not have time to check the answers for all 200 students in the given time , but I can do now is giving 1 paper and you share it with 2 or 3 person.
What I want to share is about your study ways. You should not study for the exam only, it is big mistakes. We are the same , you are dental students now and I was dental student before. More subjects to catch up is basic thing for us. So I advise you …please …please… study at least 3 TIMES for 1 TOPICS in your syllabus. When?
· First at the night before the lecture , you must study before the lecture , do some note WITH THE QUESTIONS that you do not understand while studying it. So you can ask lecturer at lecture time.
· 2nd you must study at the lecture time concentrately. at lecture time, when u study before , you just fill in the blank when the lectures was given , so you will not have the crisis that ‘ I don’t understand what are lecturer taught today , zero’. But , you will understand and maybe you will remember automatically because it is your 2nd time study.
· 3rd time is at the night after the lecture because you still fresh with what are lecture going on in that day.
If you do this thing I AM GUARANTEE that you will remember what are you studying for the whole of your life because you will use it for the further.so please don’t study just for exam , if you study for the exam only , the other subjects you will put it beside and after you finish exam the subject that you put beside was astray. You will not cover it fully.the phrase that you all must remember from dr essam:
‘everyone in this university has the intelligent , but the problem is how the students manage their time daily .YOU MUST STUDY AT LEAST 45MIN TO 1 HOUR PER SUBJECT PER NIGHT.how you manage it , it depend 100% on your own creativity’
